Everything from microwaves to DVD players to cell phones and computers to televisions has an element of Si in them.These elements are great for making these devices and our lives easier. If we didn't have the use of such devices, we would have to use pieces of metal, plastic, or glass in place of the components that we have today. The last thing that we want to do is break something because of a lack of time or money.What is Si in Chemistry? It is useful, it does our homes and our lives a lot of good, and it is available to us in nearly every element that we come in contact wit h.
